What You'll Own
Platform Performance & Roadmap
- Drive day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the eCommerce platform (OroCommerce, Salsify, Epicor Prophet 21)
- Help define what "good" looks like for platform health, then build the reporting to demonstrate it
- Own the requirements, testing, and release validation process for new features and enhancements
- Identify platform gaps, escalate issues, and see them through to resolution with internal teams and vendors
- Manage content, navigation, and site experience as an active contributor
- Work with the team to establish and enforce data standards for product attributes, specifications, images, and documentation
- Contribute to taxonomy, categorization, search tuning, and filtering, with findability and conversion as the north star
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to source, validate, and maintain technical data and digital assets
Analytics & Growth
- Help define the KPIs that matter: site performance, digital order volume, conversion, search success, content coverage
- Translate customer behavior data into concrete improvements to the online experience
- Support A/B and usability testing; contribute to a feedback loop that informs decisions
- Partner with sales and commercial teams to drive platform adoption, understand their friction, and help remove it
- Build training materials and process guides that make the platform intuitive for internal users
- Serve as a platform advocate: someone who knows it deeply and represents its users well
- Act as a primary point of contact for eCommerce platform questions across the organization
- Coordinate with marketing, IT, operations, and suppliers on launches, promotions, and content initiatives
- Contribute actively to integration projects (ERP, PIM, CRM), testing, validating, and helping document how data should flow
- Help build the playbooks, workflows, data standards, onboarding guides, and best practices that this function runs on
- Support change communication so that when something changes, the organization understands it
