What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Home Remodeling Team Member (Construction/Carpenter) position at Apex Homeworks?
Duties
- MUST BE CAPABLE OF INDEPENDENTLY LEADING the installation and repair of siding, windows, doors, decks, trim, roofing, and other exterior features.
- Must have experience installing and repairing drywall, flooring, interior doors, cabinets, and tile.
- Must have experience with frame carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and painting.
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks on construction sites.
- Operate power tools and other equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Experience
- ***Previous and recent experience in construction is REQUIRED***
- 3 years of experience in exterior remodeling or carpentry preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and frame carpentry is a plus.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
