Travel Nurse - RN - Progressive Care Unit

Role: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients requiring close monitoring but not in ICU.
• Utilize monitoring equipment to detect vital sign changes and intervene as needed.
• Manage patients receiving complex medications, including titration based on vital signs.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/Step-down setting.
  
  

Key Duties: Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting, ensuring patient stability through close monitoring, vital sign assessment, and timely interventions. Responsibilities include detecting changes in cardiac and other critical vital signs, managing complex medication regimens, and supporting emergency response when necessary.
