- Providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care in open heart surgical procedures.
- Serving as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse.
- Circulating nurses work outside the sterile field; scrub nurses handle and prepare instruments within it.
- Recent (minimum 18 months) experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
- Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possibly BLS & ACLS certifications.
