Role: The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities: Maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure quality nursing services within organizational policies.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing program graduation; a bachelor's degree is preferred. No experience required for new graduates; hospital experience is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid Georgia RN license or multistate license, and BLS certification are mandatory. Additional specialty certifications may be required based on unit.
Additional Certifications: Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or specific to specialty areas like Oncology or Dialysis, are required or preferred depending on the unit.
