Respiratory Therapist - FT, PT & PRN

We are seeking a dedicated Float Pool Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional respiratory care across various departments in Chalmette, LA. This full-time, part-time, or PRN position offers flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. As a Float Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal care and safety.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Performing diagnostic testing and administering therapies such as oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilation support
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific care plans
• Monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatments accordingly
• Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress
• Assisting with emergency airway management and code responses as needed
