- Deliver patient-centered respiratory care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and educate patients and families.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, extubation, arterial blood gas sampling, and pulmonary diagnostics.
- Ensure safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and promotion of evidence-based practices.
- Support staff development, participate in quality improvement, and foster a positive team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, complying with organizational policies.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework; Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license, Respiratory Care Professional certification, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (including instructor and provisional statuses).
