Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs, and gather information from team members.
• Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input, including education and follow-up planning.
• Coordinate and delegate care tasks, managing resources effectively to deliver quality care.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal and ethical standards, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state; BSN required within four years for less experienced RNs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in patient care delivery, critical thinking, communication, documentation, and team collaboration.
  
  

Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to see, hear, and manipulate equipment; assist with patient transfers; stand or walk for extended periods; and operate vehicles if applicable.
