Part-Time CT Technologist

Seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment focused on operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, following imaging protocols, maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging. Must ensure safety standards, troubleshoot equipment, and adapt to various protocols and equipment.

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging and collaborate with medical staff
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Document patient information and imaging details accurately
• Provide compassionate patient care and adapt to different protocols
  
  

Qualifications Include

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification
  
  

Preferred: ARRT certification and additional licenses. Key skills include critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities, with proficiency in English, PC skills, and visual acuity. Must be able to handle physical demands and work effectively under pressure.
