MRI Technologist

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality MR studies, ensuring patient safety, and communicating effectively with radiologists, team members, and patients. May work onsite or remotely, train new staff, and oversee patient screening and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and accurate MRI procedures, producing diagnostic images using multiple MR systems.
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening and aseptic techniques.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
• Train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and Assistants, both onsite and remotely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), or ARMRIT certification.
• State license and CPR certification, if applicable.
• Basic computer skills, organizational abilities, and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and perform physical tasks, including patient transfer.
• Relevant MRI experience or current enrollment in MRI training programs preferred.
  
  

Physical & Other Requirements: Exposure to magnetic fields, potential contact with blood and infectious materials, and outdoor weather conditions. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting. COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
