Role Overview

The Medical Assistant (MA) I supports licensed practitioners by performing administrative and clinical duties to provide basic patient care, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Supporting clinical workflows and patient interactions in a healthcare setting.
• Performing administrative duties as directed to facilitate patient services.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduation from an accredited or registered medical assisting training program, military medical training, or apprenticeship.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience as a medical assistant.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and delivering high-quality customer service is preferred.
