Med Care Manager - Part Time

Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely and accurately, ensuring dignity and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and promote resident safety
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
