Responsibilities
- Follow physician and provider orders, standards, and care guidelines
- Monitor residents' conditions and report concerns promptly
- Administer medications, identify interactions/incompatibilities
- Document care and interventions precisely
- Support wellness, injury prevention, and comfort initiatives
- Valid LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible
- Current BLS certification or equivalent
- Graduate from an approved Practical Nursing program
- Preferred experience in long-term care settings
- Ability to follow documented orders and work independently
- Strong observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions
- Adaptability to shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Serves residents of varying ages and needs
- Must maintain alertness and responsiveness to resident conditions
- Works in a potentially hazardous environment, handling infectious substances
- Demonstrates emotional resilience and clear communication in a dynamic setting
