- Administers occupational therapy treatments and documents in accordance with policies and guidelines.
- Contributes to program effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
- Maintains a positive interpersonal approach with patients, families, co-workers, and healthcare professionals.
- Promotes customer satisfaction and exemplifies the agency's mission, vision, and values daily.
- Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- State licensure (NC/SC) and CPR certification.
- Preferably one year of experience.
- Knowledge of home health and occupational therapy procedures, patient care equipment, and manual therapy techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs, transfer patients, and perform manual tasks.
- Ability to develop treatment programs, prioritize duties, and learn new skills and technology.
- Clear communication skills and visual acuity for clinical tasks.
- Exposure to potential hazards such as noise, communicable diseases, and patient-related risks.
- Valid driver's license and operational vehicle required.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, serving diverse populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
