Seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director for the MACE program, providing hospital-level care to older Veterans in their homes.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing medical leadership and clinical oversight for the program
- Leading an interdisciplinary team delivering acute home-based care
- Guiding program development, quality initiatives, and process improvements
- Collaborating with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency teams
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and VA policies
- Applying geriatric principles to enhance patient safety and recovery
- MD or DO degree, Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatrics preferred)
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Experience with geriatrics, acute care, or home-based care preferred
- Leadership experience a plus
