We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a contract assignment in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. This role is ideal for ER nurses who are confident managing high-acuity patients, rapid triage, and emergency interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments
- Provide care to patients presenting with trauma, acute illness, and medical emergencies
- Initiate emergency interventions and administer medications per protocol
- Assist with resuscitation efforts and emergency procedures
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes quickly
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary emergency department teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Ability to perform effectively in high-acuity, high-volume environments
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS required
- CEN preferred
