Description
The Fund Custody and Middle Office Assistant Operations Manager (Assistant Vice President) will be responsible for overseeing and delivering exceptional client service across a portfolio of Fund‑of‑Fund and Middle Office Clients. This role requires strong operational oversight, acute attention to detail. excellent communication abilities, and effective coordination across global teams and time zones. Operating in a fast‑paced environment, the assistant manager will ensure timely delivery of services, adherence to complex business processes, and seamless interaction with both internal teams and external clients.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality client service to Fund‑of‑Fund and Middle Office Clients, ensuring timely responses, accurate information, and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage multiple workflows simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with global teams and effectively navigate cross‑border communication and time‑zone coordination.
- Monitor daily KPI reports across operations team and ensure deliverables are being completed within appropriate timelines
- Maintain strong oversight of trade and payment processes and related operational controls.
- Ensure adherence to complex business processes and operational standards.
- Prepare reporting and updates for senior management as required.
- Troubleshoot operational and administrative issues independently.
- Support client onboarding, periodic reviews, and communication needs.
- Promote professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
- 5 years of financial or administrative experience (preferably have very strong understanding of fund legal structures, AML related documentation and the alternative fund administration business)
- Strong multi‑tasking abilities and comfort with tight deadlines.
- Strong client service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent time‑management, highly organized with strong analytical skills and acute attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Office 365 applications.
- Quick learner; able to adapt to new systems and workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Ability to collaborate globally across time zones.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency in following complex business and operational processes.
- Knowledge of payment systems.
- In‑office work requirement.

Salary ranges from USD $70,000 - $ 85,000 additional market competitive variable uncapped compensation based on performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
