Camp Dates: May 26th-August 5th
General Purpose: Works directly with girls ages 15 to 18, delivering programs and supervising activities to support the mission of “inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.”
Essential Functions
Must be able to deliver engaging lessons to girls which includes being able to; read, comprehend, and deliver a variety of lesson plans. Lessons will focus on personal development, leadership, advocacy, movement, healthy habits, and more. Must be a consistently safe driver.

Qualifications
Summer hours average 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday thru Friday. Opportunities to stay on as a center facilitator through the school year with hours from 1pm-6pm, Monday thru Friday.

Job Duties:
- Ensure that Girls Inc. is a welcoming and safe space for all girls
- Use an engaging, warm and welcoming tone with girls
- Encourage girls’ strengths and curiosity
- Celebrate girls’ successes
- Express confidence in independently leading a classroom of up to 15 girls
- Maintain a productive classroom by utilizing appropriate student support and redirection techniques and working with the team to address classroom challenges and any challenging behaviors from girls.
- Provide a safe environment for girls through:
- Understanding and assisting with safety procedures and drills
- Assisting the team with maintaining a safe environment for girls to play and learn
- Participating in all required safety trainings
- Participating in staff development opportunities when provided
- Serve as a role model for all girls in regards to social skills, communication, and conflict resolution
- Attend daily staff meetings and trainings as provided
- Complete program paperwork, including daily attendance and outcome reports as required
- Be ready to step in and assist in any classroom, transportation, field trip or in any other capacity necessary based on staffing levels and day-to-day needs in the center
- Interact intentionally with girls and ensure that girls follow transportation rules while in Girls Inc. vehicles or any provided transportation.
- Have timely communication with the Director of Transportation regarding any concerns with girls on transportation
- Assist girls with meals and snacks as required
- Assist with sanitizing high-touch areas of the classroom as required
- Drive Girls Inc vehicles to transport girls to and from field trips or other activities as needed

Requirements:
Qualifications
- Must submit to and be cleared by background check reviews
- Must be able to and have a desire to relate to children - preference is given to candidates with experience working with a group of children in a structured setting
- Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license
- Equipment/Software Use
- Computer - basic skills in word, excel and canva
- Classroom tools and supplies as part of program delivery
- Agency vehicle - 15 passenger van
- Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift 15-20lbs
- Able to communicate, hear clearly, and see clearly
- High energy required to work 8 hour shift with teens
- Some programming with girls is outside
