What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Program Team Member position at Apex Fun Run NJ?
Hours follow the normal school schedule, Monday through Friday, generally from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. No Weekends.
Looking for a fun, athletic, and energetic individual to join our growing team The right candidate has a big personality and loves working with children. They must feel comfortable in front of a classroom teaching kids a few short ~5 minute leadership lessons for elementary school fundraising.
If you love the idea of teaching today's youth about leadership and working for a young and growing dynamic want you Starting September 2025, Training Late August.
Salary starts at $1,450 event/every 2 weeks with opportunity for bonus and promotion.
There is travel required between northern NJ so your own reliable transportation is required. No exceptions
Please do not apply if you are a student/unable to commit to a daytime monday-friday schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to):
·Serve Teachers and School Administrators by giving 5 minute lessons on Leadership
·Handing out and keeping record of prizes for students according to our easy to read daily document.
·Inspire Kids by being an excellent role model at all times
·Interact with students during lunch and gym
·Set-up and take down equipment needed for each aspect of the program.
MUST-HAVES:
·Strong Character and Integrity
·A clean background check
·Ability to connect with kids
Ability to learn and teach a short 5 minute lesson and stay up to date on the material which stays consistent for the whole school year.
·Clean driver's license and reliable vehicle
·Be passionate about serving children
QUALIFICATIONS:
You must love kids. Your patience and nurturing demeanor is immeasurable and you never lose your cool. You realize that kids look up to you and your goal is to constantly inspire them to be the best they can be not only in your words, but with your daily actions
