This is an incredible opportunity for Software Engineer I who will work closely with software development and business teams building products and services for customers of Apex Fintech Solutions' suite of financial back office solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Working with a variety of languages/frameworks, such as Java, Go, Python and technologies such as RDBMS, Kubernetes, and Docker, Google Cloud Platform
- Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software
- Building resilient, self-scaling, self-healing services that allow you to sleep through the night
- Writing high-quality, well-tested code. Maintaining high code-quality standards across your team via code reviews
- Attending training and expand domain knowledge on Accounts creation and Maintenance
- Encouraging innovation by questioning business processes throughout the company
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of prior work experience preferred
- Experience of software development skills in a modern object-oriented programming language ideally Java / Go, Python considered a plus, an RDBMS or SQL, and the ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Previous knowledge in financial markets isn’t required, but interest is a plus
- Adaptability: while you enjoy establishing process and standards, you understand the need to be flexible and enjoy trying new things
- This job operates operates in hybrid, office environment 3 days per week.
