This role operates with moderate autonomy, partners closely with cross-functional teams, and helps shape category plans through data-driven insights and disciplined execution. Duties/Responsibilities Own the SaaS renewals pipeline: maintain a 12–18 month calendar with 180/120/90/60-day gates; prevent auto-renewals. Analyze entitlements/usage; right-size licenses and consumption; vendor consolidation; rationalize overlapping apps. Use an external benchmarking service to understand market pricing/terms and develop negotiation strategy and targets. Lead negotiations for renewals and small tech buys under playbooks (price locks, CPI caps, step-downs, ramp/proration, true-up relief, downgrade rights); create credible switch leverage when appropriate. Review and interpret contracts and amendments; compare terms in Evisort; ensure repository accuracy and version control (no drafting of contracts). Maintain supplier scorecards/QBRs; strengthen vendor partnerships through performance reviews, joint roadmaps, SLA tracking, and remediation. Limited RFx: run light competitive quotes when needed; document awards and outcomes. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field 5 years of procurement/strategic sourcing experience, including leading small-to-medium negotiations and running sourcing events Certifications preferred: CPSM, CIPS, CSCP (or in progress) Required Skills/Abilities Strong analytical skills: Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, PowerQuery), TCO and price/cost analysis; data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) a plus Working knowledge of commercial contracting (SLAs, warranties, data privacy, liability caps, confidentiality, basic IP) and experience partnering with Legal Proficiency with eSourcing and CLM tools; familiarity with spend analytics platforms Excellent organization, attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management; ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines Work Environment This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week. #finance #mid-senior #full-time #LI-LN1 #APEX Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Salary Range $99,000-$123,750 The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
