Job Description:
Apex Filling Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels for our filling systems. The Panel Builder will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure high-quality and timely production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Wire electrical components, including relays, PLCs, VFDs, and other control devices.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical panels to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure all panels meet company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical technology preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in panel building, electrical assembly, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
