Rental Consultant / Outside Sales

Full-Time | $3,000–$5,000 per month bonus

Are you someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and helping customers find the right tools for the job? We're looking for a motivated Rental Consultant to join our family-owned equipment rental company.

We've built our business on outstanding customer service, quality equipment, and a reputation our community trusts. Whether you're helping a homeowner tackle a weekend project or assisting a contractor with a large job, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their projects.
• Prepare rental agreements and accurately process reservations.
• Answer phones and assist walk-in customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Coordinate equipment availability and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Load and unload equipment for customers safely and efficiently.
• Keep the rental yard and showroom clean, organized, and customer-ready.
• Build relationships with contractors and local businesses through outside sales.
• Create new customer accounts and grow repeat business.
• Promote rental specials, new equipment, and additional services.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure equipment is clean, inspected, and ready to rent.

What We're Looking For

• Sales, customer service, or equipment rental experience preferred.
• Construction, landscaping, farming, or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outside sales calls and developing new business.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, load, and move equipment safely throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
