Gym Front Desk & Operations Associate
Apex Total Family Fitness is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team and help manage the day-to-day operations of our fitness facility in Wartburg, TN.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently. We are a locally owned, family-oriented gym, so we are looking for someone who will take pride in the facility, get to know our members, and help create a clean, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet members and guests and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Check members in and assist with general membership questions
- Give facility tours to prospective members and explain membership options
- Assist with new member sign-ups and membership changes
- Answer phone calls, messages, and general customer inquiries
- Handle basic payments and point-of-sale transactions
- Monitor the gym floor and facility throughout the shift
- Keep the front desk and common areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Perform routine cleaning throughout the gym, including equipment, floors, bathrooms, mirrors, and other high-touch areas
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other facility supplies as needed
- Identify and report maintenance, equipment, or facility issues
- Help ensure members are following gym policies and treating the facility appropriately
- Assist with promotions, events, member communication, and other gym activities as needed
- Complete other day-to-day tasks necessary to keep the facility operating smoothly
What We're Looking For:
We need someone who is reliable and able to work without constant supervision. The right person should be comfortable finding something productive to do when the front desk is slow rather than waiting to be given a task.

- Friendly and comfortable talking with people
- Professional when handling member questions or concerns
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to clean and help maintain the facility
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable learning basic computer and membership-management systems
- Able to communicate effectively with management and other staff
- Comfortable enforcing gym rules respectfully when necessary
Previous gym, customer service, sales, front desk, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
