Know agriculture? Enjoy building relationships with farmers? Apex Companies is looking for a motivated sales representative to help landowners find drainage solutions that fit their farms.
We’re looking for someone who can earn trust, identify opportunities, and follow through from the first conversation to the completed sale.
What you’ll do
- Build relationships with farmers, landowners, farm managers, and agricultural businesses.
- Find new customers through calls, farm visits, referrals, and industry events.
- Meet with customers to understand their drainage needs and project goals.
- Work with our estimating and operations teams to develop proposals.
- Present quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales.
- Maintain customer relationships and communicate project details to our team.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in agricultural sales, farming, drainage tile, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a practical understanding of agriculture.
- A self-motivated person who can manage a territory and organize follow-ups.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Drainage tile experience preferred.
Compensation: Base Comission
Territory: MN, ND
Position: Full Time
