Your Responsibilities as a Project Engineer:
- Perform detailed and conceptual civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility planning.
- Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.
- Assist the Project Manager with overall project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and task assignments.
- Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Support the development of proposals, scope documents, and client presentations.
- Assist in the permit application and approval process, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Participate in client and contractor meetings, documenting action items and facilitating follow-up.
- Contribute to internal project management systems by maintaining accurate records, budgets, and progress reports.
- Actively pursue opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
What we're looking for:
- BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. EIT required, PE preferred.
- 4 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD preferred. Experience with HEC/RAZ is beneficial.
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
