You'll be helping grow a longstanding business while receiving the recognition and support your commitment to professional growth deserves.Your Responsibilities as a Construction Inspector:Inspect, observe, and ensure construction projects—including road construction, mass grading and excavation and bridges are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients.Prepare and maintain records of plans, inspections, letters, and reports used in connection with roadway and bridge inspection.Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.Travel to project sites as required.What we're looking for:Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related fieldGood knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of roadway grading, paving and bridge operations.Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.A clean driving record.Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams to obtain them preferred.Why you'll love working for us:Flexible ScheduleCompetitive PayMedical, Vision, Dental, and HSAGenerous PTO401K Plan including employer contributionApex Job Title: Construction Technician 3Req ID: 10925We believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees, customers, and communities.
