Apex Companies, a leading mid-sized environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Landscape Laborer to join our Stormwater team in Ashland, VA. This role involves maintaining and servicing stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties, combining landscaping expertise with environmental stewardship.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems, including retention ponds, detention basins, and drainage ditches.
- Conduct mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, and ground maintenance.
- Operate landscaping and light construction equipment. (Mowers, Trimmers, Weed Wackers, etc.)
- Travel to client sites locally and regionally using company vehicles.

Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in outdoor labor (landscaping, construction, or similar).
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel (typically 4-8 days per month, Monday-Friday).
- Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Travel expenses, including lodging and $55 per diem, are covered by the company.
