The Floor Technician will specialize in stripping, waxing, and buffing is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of floors by performing specific tasks such as removing old wax, applying new wax, and buffing surfaces to a high shine. This role focuses on ensuring floors are both visually appealing and well-maintained through expert floor care techniques.
Responsibilities

Stripping Floors:
- Use specialized stripping machines and chemicals to effectively remove old wax, finishes, or sealers from floors, leaving a clean and smooth surface.
- Ensure that floors are fully stripped of old residues, cleaned, and prepared for a new layer of finish or wax.
- Mix and apply floor stripping chemicals safely according to manufacturer instructions, ensuring minimal residue and damage to the surface.

Waxing Floors:
- After stripping, apply high-quality wax or floor finish to create a protective layer that enhances floor appearance and provides a glossy, polished look.
- Apply multiple coats of wax as necessary, ensuring even coverage and proper drying time between layers for optimal results.
- Use wax applicators or floor machines to ensure a consistent, smooth finish without streaks or bubbles.

Buffing Floors:
- After waxing, use a high-speed floor buffer or burnisher to polish the floor to a high gloss, ensuring the floor has a mirror-like shine.
