PeopleSoft Functional Consultant/Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Business Analyst – AP with 5 years of IT experience and strong expertise in the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Expenses (EX) modules. The ideal candidate will provide post-production functional support, perform system configuration, prepare functional design documentation, coordinate with development teams, and support end users throughout the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 functional support for PeopleSoft Accounts Payable and Expenses modules.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve help desk tickets.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional design documents for enhancements, interfaces, and system changes.
• Configure PeopleSoft AP and EX modules based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers by providing detailed functional specifications.
• Perform system, regression, and integration testing after code changes.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and supporting documentation.
• Update job aids, user documentation, and training materials as needed.
• Assist end users with system functionality and "how-to" inquiries.
• Track issues, provide status updates, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of IT experience as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Expenses (EX) modules (version 9.0 or higher).
• Experience with PeopleSoft configuration and post-production support.
• Working knowledge of PeopleTools.
• Ability to read and write simple SQL queries.
• Experience preparing functional design documents and system test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
