Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MDM Data Integration Lead with strong expertise in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating account-level commercial data sources such as DDD, 867, and claims data into Master Data Management (MDM) platforms.
Candidates with experience working within pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations and a strong understanding of healthcare data ecosystems are highly preferred. Experience with Veeva Network MDM is a significant plus.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of experience in Data Integration, Master Data Management, or Data Engineering.
- Experience working in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical companies.
- Strong understanding of commercial healthcare data, including:
- DDD (Distribution Data)
- 867 Sales Data
- Claims Data
- Experience integrating account-level data into MDM platforms.
- Expertise in data mapping, data transformation, and data quality processes.
- Strong knowledge of customer/account master data management concepts.
- Experience working with ETL and data integration tools.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Network MDM.
- Experience with pharmaceutical customer master and healthcare provider data.
- Knowledge of data governance and data stewardship practices.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare reference data and commercial data ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of commercial account-level data into the enterprise MDM platform.
- Analyze and map data from DDD, 867, claims, and other healthcare data sources.
- Design and implement data integration workflows and data quality processes.
- Collaborate with business users and data stewards to define data standards.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data.
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver MDM initiatives successfully.
- Provide recommendations for improving data quality and master data processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical commercial data initiatives is highly desirable.
