Position: Kakfa Admin
Location: Chandler, AZ (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Duration: 12 month contract (ext up to 18 months)

We are currently seeking a Kafka Administrator for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on the operational support and administration of a large-scale Kafka infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the stability of production and non-production environments, including handling incident management, change requests, and system builds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational activities which includes administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, change requests and builds
- Provide Problem, Incident, Change and Request management support for the application using these platforms
- Triage, service restoral, facilitation and coordination of root cause identification and permanent fix resolution
- Responsible to handle the Kafka infrastructure and break fix the issues occurred in Production and Non-Production
- Responsible to handle Changes in the Kafka Infrastructure
- Build new Kafka servers and configure Kafka patching and fix packs
- Work on Kafka monitoring tools
- TLS upgrades and installation in prod and non-prod infrastructure
Requirements:
- Ability to analyze the root cause and follow the ways to providing the permanent fix
- Familiar in handling client calls and customer issues
- Knowledge on complex clustered Environment
- Good hands on Production environment to handle issues
- Experience resolving critical issues on the fly
- Ability to support application teams around messaging functionalities
