Job description:
Project Construction Safety Manager
GSA per diem rates for travel candidates ($1,659 per week for Richmond, VA)
Monday-Saturday
Responsibilities
- :Implement, promote, and maintain the site-specific Safety Pla
- nConduct safety inductions for all site employees and subcontracted staf
- fCoordinate and ensure all site personnel are properly inducted into the customer’s safety progra
- mExecute daily and weekly safety inspections; report and correct finding
- sVerify subcontractors have all required permits to work and assist in obtaining necessary documentatio
- nEnsure daily toolbox talks are conducted, signed by workers, and properly file
- dOrganize and lead weekly safety meetings for the site tea
- mCollect worked hours for all site personnel and subcontracted staff and generate monthly report
- sInvestigate and report all incidents involving site employees and subcontractor
- sAssist in developing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Work Method Statements (WMS
- )Participate in customer safety meetings and actively support execution of the safety progra
mRequirements
- :OSHA 500 certification AND Degree in Safety require
- dMinimum 6 years of safety management or site safety leadership experienc
- e5 years of Construction experienc
- eStrong understanding of legal health and safety regulation
- sOSHA 10- and 30-hour certification
