Safety Manager (PRN)

We are hiring for a part-time Safety Manager to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis to maintain site safety coverage. This is a contract (W-2) role expected to run through 2027. Night shift schedule from 9:00PM-5:00AM.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain site safety coverage when full-time safety staff are out of office
• Implement and maintain site safety plan
• Conduct safety inductions for all contractor and subcontracted staff
• Execute daily and weekly safety inspections, reports, and corrects findings
• Ensure that subcontractors have all required permits to work
• Organize weekly safety discussion for contractor site team
• Collect worked hours for contractor and subcontractor teams and generate monthly reports
• Investigate and report any incidents
• Generate Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Work Method Statements (WMS)

Requirements:

• 8 years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 500
• CHST certification a plus
• Must be available to start as soon as compliant (background screening can sometimes take up to 2 weeks)
• Must live within a commutable distance to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
