- Oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner
- Supervise CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, providing guidance and coaching as needed
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patients are receiving high-quality care
- Assist with admissions, including assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Attend facility meetings as the unit representative, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments
- Meet with family members to keep them informed of their loved one's progress and address any concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and unit reports
- Work a med-cart as needed.
- RN preferred, LPN's will be considered
- 3 years of experience
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
