Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Make written and oral reports regarding resident care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary, maintaining accurate records and charts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, focusing on resident-centered care.
- Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
