The Role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will serve as the backbone of recruiting operations across the firm. This individual will serve as a thought partner on the recruiting team and lead the daily execution of recruiting operations. Reporting directly to the Executive Recruiter, this position plays a critical role in creating an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring recruiting activities are executed efficiently and professionally across all searches within the firm.
This role is responsible for candidate sourcing, interview coordination, recruiting administration, job posting management, candidate communications, and recruiting process support. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in building a long-term career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources within the financial services industry.
Where you’ll work:
This role will be remote or work out of our West Hartford, CT - based team with occasional travel to the HQ, office sites, and industry events to facilitate recruiting events, annual strategy planning sessions and company offsites.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels in collaboration with the Executive recruiter and hiring teams
- Screen resumes against role specifications you will build in partnership with the Executive Recruiter and conduct initial candidate outreach
- Schedule interviews with hiring team members across multiple offices and time zones
- Coordinate interview logistics and ensure a seamless candidate experience
- Prepare interview schedules and candidate briefing materials
- Collect interview feedback from hiring managers and interview teams
- Draft job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers and the Executive Recruiter
- Post positions across internal and external recruiting platforms
- Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment activities
- Prepare offer letters and support onboarding coordination with other HR team members
- Track recruiting metrics and report recruiting activity as directed by the Executive Recruiter
- Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and employer brand initiatives
- Ensure recruiting documentation complies with all employment laws and company policies
What qualifications we’re looking for:
- 3 yrs of recruiting operations, human resources, staffing, or project management experience required
- Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter, job board posting and recruiting agency communications
- Knowledge of job description creation and interview process scheduling
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting software is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive candidate and employee information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers, candidates, and team members
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
