Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Paving Salesperson/Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will drive business growth by developing client relationships, accurately estimating paving projects, and ensuring competitive pricing. Your expertise in construction estimating and site experience will be vital in delivering successful projects that meet client expectations and company standards.

Duties

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to generate new business opportunities.
• Prepare detailed and accurate paving project estimates.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and cost estimates.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable projects while maintaining positive relationships.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure project scope aligns with estimates and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather data, and verify project requirements for accurate estimation.
• Monitor project costs throughout execution to support cost control efforts and maximize profitability.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site management, and contract administration.
• Experience in asphalt paving or related heavy civil construction projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Solid understanding of cost control practices, pricing strategies, and project management principles.
