We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor for a part-time morning position located in Bloomington, MN.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and custodial work, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
This candidate must be comfortable working around customers, and display a professional and strong work ethic.
Job description:
Part time: 12 - 20 hours per week
Monday - Friday: Start time 7:00am (fixed start time, end time may vary) Approx. 3 hour shifts.
Starting Wage: $18.50 / hour (depending on experience)
Basic janitorial responsibilities: Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, ground level window cleaning, carpet cleaning, trash removal, restocking supplies, ensuring security measures are met, and other tasks as assigned.
Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is required
- Willing to take feedback from management staff and customers in a positive manner
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent cleaning quality
- Ability to efficiently complete each job in a timely manner
- Ability to complete a cleaning checklist
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
Must also have the ability to lift 50 lbs. periodically, reliable transportation, and a clean criminal background.
