Key Responsibilities – Administrative Assistant
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both customers and employees.
- Manage daily employee time clock entries, attendance tracking, and time reporting.
- Prepare and maintain tardiness and absenteeism reports, ensuring proper documentation is submitted.
- Assist in scheduling courier drivers to ensure timely, efficient delivery of packages.
- Support the recruitment process by communicating with candidates and collecting required documentation.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure packages are prepared and ready for dispatch.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Foster strong relationships with employees and customers.
- Provide onboarding, coaching, and training for new driver hires.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to quality.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 1–3 years of experience in office administration and personnel management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and employees.
- Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with smartphones and dispatching software preferred.
- Knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks and HR-related software preferred.
- Ability to lift merchandise weighing between 5 and 50 pounds.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
