Maintenance TechnicianApartment Services, Inc. – Randallstown, MDFull-Time | On-Call Rotation Required | Multiple Property Locations PossibleJob Overview:Apartment Services, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our residential properties. This role includes general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. We’re looking for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property groundsPerform repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances without assistanceComplete resident service requests within 24 hours and address move-in checklist itemsInspect and maintain alarm systems, including carbon monoxide and fire protectionKeep maintenance records and report routine and emergency issues to the Service SupervisorEnsure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, Fair Housing, and applicable lawsMaintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and secure all tools and keysRespond to on-call emergencies within 15 minutes by phone and arrive on-site within 30 minutesParticipate in snow and ice removal, including salting, shoveling, and pretreating when neededSupport a team environment and assist coworkers as requiredBring and maintain personal tools necessary for completing daily tasksPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairsFamiliarity with general maintenance processes and mechanical systemsAbility to safely operate hand tools and power toolsStrong organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independently or with a teamRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial settingsPhysically able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsComfortable working in hot, cold, indoor, and outdoor conditionsValid driver’s license is required.Use of a vehicle for the duration of each scheduled shift is mandatory.Must provide current and reliable contact information (phone and email)May be required to work across multiple company propertiesAvailability to work weekends, be on-call, and respond to weather-related emergenciesBenefits Offered:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with Company MatchLife InsuranceShort- and Long-Term Disability CoverageTransportation AllowancePhone AllowanceCompany Cell PhoneRental Discount Program (more information available at interview)
