Job Overview: Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to oversee daily leasing operations at one of our residential communities. The Leasing Manager is responsible for supervising the leasing office and team, managing occupancy goals, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all residents and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow of the leasing office and leasing representatives.
- Guide, direct, and train leasing staff in accordance with company policies and performance expectations.
- Support the Regional Property Manager with onboarding and annual performance reviews of leasing team members.
- Ensure all leasing, marketing, and resident retention goals are achieved.
- Interact with residents to assist with rental payments, service requests, and general inquiries.
- Maintain open communication between leasing, service, and management teams to promote teamwork.
- Perform daily property and model inspections to ensure cleanliness, curb appeal, and readiness.
- Review and approve payroll, scheduling, and timekeeping for site staff.
- Coordinate and participate in eviction processes and represent the company in court as needed.
- Manage delinquency through proactive resident contact and follow-up.
- Communicate property updates and resident issues to the Regional Property Manager promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and safety regulations.
- Maintain the leasing office and model apartment in excellent condition at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of property management or leasing experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and train team members.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management, sales, or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work weekends and attend events on a rotating schedule.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- May be required to work at various company properties as needed.
