The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for processing residential and commercial transactions with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. This role supports the Accounts Receivable Department and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities and Duties: (included but not limited to)
- Enter and process payments for residential accounts.
- Prepare and manage court filings, including processing court lists.
- Attend court proceedings as on-site support when necessary.
- Prepare and record cash deposits.
- Process charges, credits, and account adjustments.
- Communicate with leasing offices, regional managers, and residents regarding account transactions and discrepancies.
- Process referral checks and miscellaneous check requests.
- Maintain and reconcile residential ledgers.
- Respond to resident and management inquiries via phone and email regarding account balances and other financial matters.
- Provide on-site support by attending court proceedings as needed in various locations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Yardi Systems preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in property management preferred.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, clean driving record, and insurance.
