Assistant Property Manager - Spectra Apartments

Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire an on site Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Spectra Apartments! This apartment community has 324 units and is located in Fort Meyers, FL.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in overseeing the daily activities of the apartment community. Some key responsibilities consist of ensuring the property is efficiently maintained, units are occupied, rental payments are received, reports are updated, resident issues are resolved, and renewal leases are completed. The assistant property manager reports directly to the property manager. This job is perfect for a team player who is motivated by setting and upholding standards to make their property stand out from the rest.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining occupancy goals for the property
• Supervision and development of the leasing staff
• Ability to maintain property appearance
• Administer tours and answer questions for perspective residents
• Attention to resident concerns and overall resident satisfaction for the property
• Implementing and enforcing community policies
• Using marketing strategies to secure prospective residents
• Marketing outreach within nearby community

• 2 years of experience in the multi-family housing or hospitality industry is highly preferred
• Leasing experience preferred
• Must have a strong sales background
• Experience with Entrata preferred, but willing to train
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Strong conflict resolution skills with emotional intelligence
• Excellent communication, strong resident relation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Fair Housing preferred
• NALP a plus but not required
• Social media certifications a plus but not required
• High-school diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance required
• Availability to work weekends, Saturdays are required but subject to being open on Sundays if necessary, this would be a scheduled adjustment during the week

Salary : $22 - $25
