- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests or residents
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and addressing any issues promptly
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
- Support custodial management by reporting maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials including carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or carpet extractors is advantageous
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles demonstrates strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory or training responsibilities
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings
