Exterior Painter (Brush & Roller)

About the Role
We are a local property management company looking for a skilled, reliable exterior painter to handle exterior building painting and refreshes.

This is a brush-and-roller position only. We do not use spray equipment. We need someone who takes pride in clean, precise brush work, sharp cut-ins, and a professional finish.

Light carpentry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Paint exterior walls, trim, doors, soffits, fascia, and related surfaces
• Prepare surfaces properly (scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, priming as needed)
• Cut in cleanly around edges, windows, doors, and fixtures using a brush
• Apply paint evenly with brush and roller for a smooth, professional finish
• Protect landscaping, walkways, windows, and surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking
• Perform light carpentry as needed (minor repairs, board replacement, trim work, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized worksite
• Work efficiently to meet project schedules

Requirements

• Proven experience painting exteriors with a brush and roller
• Strong brush skills — clean cut-ins and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred

• Experience painting multi-family / apartment exteriors
• Light carpentry skills
• Knowledge of proper surface preparation and exterior paint products
• Own basic painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, drop cloths, ladders, etc.)
