Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team for every Monday, additionally every other Tuesday as well from 8-5pm. We are looking for someone to start as soon as a January 19th, 2026.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on general dentistry, utilizing advanced dental software systems and maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.
Duties
- One (1) hour per patient practice, 90 minutes for scaling and root planning (SRP)'s
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing procedures with precision and care
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and imaging as needed
- Review and update medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures
- Operate dental software system for documentation review and record keeping
- Assist in patient assessment, including dental exam, making sure per probing is done 1-2 times per year.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and professional during patient hours, and a team player.
Requirements
- Valid RDH license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinic environments
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software systems is a plus. We use iDentosoft
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and Dental terminology
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement, take their own x-rays and patient assessment accurately
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to pediatric and adult patients
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management
- Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental procedures
