Role Overview 

Join Aparavi for an exciting 3-month Fall internship and play a vital role in our hyper-growth journey! As an Associate AI Developer Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience collaborating with our talented development team to build and deliver innovative AI features that empower our users to extract unprecedented value from their data. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and launch your career in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence. This will be a flexible in-office/remote hybrid position based in our San Francisco office for the duration of the Fall term.

What You'll Do: 

• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and developer relations to contribute to the development of AI-powered capabilities and products. 

• Assist in the design, build, testing, and deployment of AI software components, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), data pipelines, similarity search, and agentic workflows. 

• Gain practical experience utilizing a range of open-source and proprietary AI tools and solutions such as Hugging Face, Vector and Graph Databases, Langchain, PyTorch, and more. 

• Work within an agile development environment to deliver value iteratively and with a focus on high quality. 

• Contribute to building and enhancing our AI use case solutions to enable users to gain deeper insights and achieve more with their unstructured data. 

• Develop a foundational understanding of the Aparavi tech stack, key use cases, unique selling propositions (USP), and our customer base. 

• Assist with local AI Tech Events 

What You'll Bring: 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science with a strong interest or focus on Generative AI and/or Machine Learning. 

• Some knowledge and coursework related to Large Language Models, generative AI applications, and/or agentic AI concepts. 

• A foundational understanding of programming concepts, ideally with some exposure to languages like Python or C . 

• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about emerging AI methodologies and tools. 

• A genuine passion for staying informed about the latest advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence. 

• Basic familiarity with operating systems and common networking protocols is a plus. 

• A willingness to embrace a growth mindset and contribute to end-to-end product thinking.
