Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator specializing in Sheet Metal Fabrication to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with production and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise cost estimates for sheet metal fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and supply chain teams to align estimates with manufacturing capabilities and lead times.
- Utilize Jobboss quoting software
- Prepare comprehensive proposals that include material costs, labor hours and overhead expenses.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication estimating within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quoting sheet metal fabrications (Material Requirements Planning) modules effectively.
- Familiarity with supply chain management practices, including inventory control, demand planning, and procurement strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience in manufacturing or production planning roles is highly desirable.
Pay: $27.50 - $35.50 per hour
