Warehouse Laborer

Position Summary

At Apache Oil Company, Warehouse Associate plays a key role for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and customer tickets. This position is customer facing, as such this position is required to be a clean-cut, hard-working, dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, with a desire to learn our products and grow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

People

1. Works with cohesively across all departments and a staff.

2. Maintains positive and professional communication with all personnel.

3. Communicates with external customers and clients with respect.

Service

• Accurately picks, packs and checks orders, some heaving lifting required.
• Loading and unloading vehicles as required using appropriate equipment.
• Utilizes mobile equipment such as forklifts, ladders, and pallet jacks when needed.
• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with unloading, and ensuring delivery of ticket with material, and collecting payment, if necessary.
• Assist Warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material as needed.

Quality and Safety

• Ensures all merchandise is safely and securely packaged and labeled.
• Accurately fulfills customer tickets in a timely manner.
• Examining and inspecting orders before packing to make sure all specifications are met.
• Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and standards
• Follows all safety rules while on the job. Report’s accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
• Completes required and job-related in-services and applies the information as needed.
• Assists with proper allocation of inventory as needed.

Financial

• Uses resources efficiently
• Submits reimbursements in a timely manner when needed.

Education Requirements

· Highschool Diploma or equivalent – Required

Experience Requirements

· One year verifiable experience working in shipping, receiving, or warehouse required.

· Forklift operation - preferred

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Minimum 21 years old

· Currently authorized to work in the United States

· No convictions within the past 5 years

· Work closely and effectively with multiple levels of the organization

· Organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call when needed.

· Motivated with a positive attitude, dependable and self-motivated to work alone as well as in a team setting.
